ELG Semi-Annual Meeting – Paris, November 2025
Hosted by Paulhan & Associés
The European Law Group recently held its Semi-Annual Meeting in Paris from 27–29 November 2025, bringing together members from across Europe for three days of discussion, collaboration, and shared experiences. Hosted by Paulhan & Associés, the meeting combined productive professional exchange with valuable informal networking.
The gathering opened on Thursday evening with an informal dinner at Le Chai Brongniart, allowing members to reconnect and welcome new participants.
The formal meeting took place on Friday at Kléber Signature, where members discussed ongoing ELG initiatives, including secondments, referrals, business flows between members, and the future format of ELG meetings. Updates were also shared on ELG’s marketing activities, including the website, LinkedIn presence, publications, and the “Doing Business In…” initiative.
The afternoon featured a keynote presentation by Commander M. Loïc Le Pennec of the French Navy on the evolution of European defence cooperation. Members also discussed potential new member firms, sub-group activities across key practice areas, and plans for upcoming ELG meetings in Thessaloniki (Spring 2026) and Vienna (Autumn 2026).
Friday concluded with a memorable dinner cruise on the Seine, offering an opportunity for further networking in a unique Parisian setting.
On Saturday, members enjoyed a guided cultural visit to the Panthéon, followed by an informal farewell lunch at Au Bon Coin.
The Paris meeting reinforced the strength of ELG’s community and its commitment to cross-border collaboration. We thank Paulhan & Associés for their generous hosting and look forward to continuing this momentum at our next gathering in Thessaloniki in May 2026.
